We're going to begin some server work starting at the date/time in the thread title. We may see random reboots and restarts during the day and we hope to be tuned and tweaked by the end of the day (or at least fairly stable. We do not plan on closing the forums during this time but please be aware that you may see errors while browsing, posting, etc. Survivalmonkey is not responsible for damages should you lose your 27,000 word post nor if the forum eats your hamster.
Just disabled a few of our add-ons to troubleshoot an error. This affects the Shoutbox, User Albums and a few other things.

Ouch. post 4 makes my brain hurt in a way that it never has. Could be that I'm still reeling from the potential of in situ kinetics to boot. I'm sure you just made the MySQL server choke as it tries to add backwards/upside down text to the search index. OT, but my 5 year old refers to a regular state as 'upside up'
We need another 45 minutes of no Shoutbox time. Then we'll start adding 'add ons' back in one at a time to see if any of them are the in situ culprit of carborized mayhem and efficacious suffixation.
Changed the title for you. Didn't want to create yet another problem thread and this technically is part of the process that was started then. For good or bad, the errors I'm tracking down have not surfaced since disabling some of our additional options (aka Add-ons).
Was actually just thinking about you and Tac an hour ago and realized that I've never actually seen you and Tac in the same room. Which of you is Mr. Snuffleupagus?
