What areas of the USA are at high risk for earth quakes? I know CA has a lot of activity and the Madrid fault line but are there any other major areas for earth quakes?

Alaska has MAJOR Quake Zones, as does ALL of the West Coast. We do NOT have any Nuclear Power Reactors, here in Alaska... Yet.....

That's a great chart, wow the Madrid is going to be beyond devastating if it has a massive event.

I've heard some people say they are expecting it to go at some point and some people say it is not likely, hard to tell whats right or not.

Yeah don't leave out TN and the massive caldera at Yellowstone. That map is pretty good.

After what happened in Japan I am starting to make better preparations for the possibility that a big quake could go off near where I live.

I never really gave it too much thought but there have been a lot of big natural disasters the last 5-10 years and it seems like it is getting worse.
