Great, just great. Heading in to work this morning (opposite side of Memphis) reports stared coming in that the Velaro Refinery in Memphis has had an explosion & fire. Memphis Two alarm fire at Memphis Valero refinery - Action News 5 - Memphis, Tennessee This should prove interesting to local gas prices.
The explosion was one of the crude oil heaters. The unit had a malfunction and ignited the oil, in a sealed container. The fire was put out within 30 min. have not heard how it is effecting production.
