Why wouldn't you just buy a complete upper or a barrel kit from one of the reputable firms out there?
because I have an upper receiver complete already that I won on a shooting match prize table. i also have the hand guards, flash hider, bolt carrier, so it is sorta stupid to spend 4-500 bucks for a completed upper when all I need is a couple hundred worth of parts.
Just bought a barrel assembly complete from Sportsmansguide.com along with a barrel nut and delta ring.
