That song didn't seem very joyful to me.

I was used to highlight the plight of over 1 billion people who drink out of rivers around the world and get sick. About 5,000 children a day die worldwide as a result of diseases in the water. It costs about $10,000 to dig a well.

    The song is forlorn.

Did you know today is World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought?

The United Nations' World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought is annually observed on June 17 to highlight the urgent need to curb the desertification process. It also aims to strengthen the visibility of the drylands issue on the international environmental agenda.
