Nope.. Creek is possible but not a river.

 

They are too lean to float. I have had to lasso a few. But keep in mind, I hunt bow, cross bow, and shotgun for deer.

Last years burger didnt need any fat added. Held togeather well for hamburgers. Like my 270. Have hunted with a bow but never took anything with one.

Parked my bow in favor of something that will shoot through Cedar limbs and way off. Lost a really nice buck when he stopped behind a Cedar while I was at full draw. Never again. Hardly ever have a deer run far. Usually less than a hundred feet and some go down in their tracks. Looking for bear now--found a 5" track in the lower drive last year. Will wait for deer over bobcats/coyotes/foxes. Did take a really big bobcat three yrs ago. Was time to go in and he was looking up at me when I pulled the trigger. Just flattened right there under the tree. Probably weighed 35#s.

 

Been looking to get an elk. See bear around here frequently. Well, except this time of the year.

 

We have a few. Can't hunt them though. If you do shoot one you had better have claw marks on your _ !!

 

Yeah Gator, them swamp bred 'dillos are plain mean..............

 

You do know that if you catch a live dillo and throw it in the creek... It will just walk the bottom until it climbs out on the opposite side.

 

We have a fall and spring bear hunt.. Have not gone after them. Most all that I have seen have been momma's with young ones..

 

Not to derail the conversation or anything, I mean where can I find a conversation about HUNTING on these boards, but there is a letter going around where Obama calls the lady who wrote it a "tea-bagger" and if you read the letter it is pretty obvious that he is pissed about being called a Socialist. This means that all of the videos and campaigns against him ARE making an impact. Our voices are being heard if not acknowledged. This is a great time to escalate, get communication and organization, and make something happen.
