I went to Home Depot to pick a few items and noticed in the lumber area parking lot, that there was 10 different types of hauling trailers hooked to various rigs. And last week the wife and I went to look over some travel/camping trailers. Curious what types of trailer you have, why and how well they perform the mission for you. We have seen multiple threads on vehicles but what accompanies them.... Some will have travel trailers with a prepper's eye towards the detail, maybe a hauling trailer for wood, vehicles or toys and so on.

I have a small Firewood hauling trailer with ATV Wheels, that I tow behind the Rhino, when I go logging. Pictures later...

In your environment I am sure that would be of great benefit.... do you also use a sled behind a snowmobile for hunting and winter activities? I have some friends that have to use snow machines to get to their cabin in the winter up around Rosyln and use a sled to move gear.

I tow a Treco Tub, with a snowmobile if I need to haul something, after the snow depth gets to where the Rhino, gets unDrivable.

old horse trailer, it hauls horses, pigs, turkeys, wood, lumber, hay, sacks of cement and anything else that fits through the rear doors.

EDIT: forgot to mention, it also moved the oldest to and from college. She was not amused.

That puppy has more than paid for itself hauling materials and slabwood that I get from a buddy who owns his own sawmill
I have probably hauled 12 cords of slabwood in 20 foot lengths and bucked it right off the trailer
not to mention 18 pallets of stone for a retaining wall and all the materials to build my shop

and it just hunkers down and tows like a dream

I have two. A 6 by 16 flatbed tandem with low sides. It's my workhorse trailer for most things, and my second is a 4 by 8 that I salvaged and rebuilt pretty much completely. I can haul it behind my little car as well as behind the truck. Sometimes the 6 by 16 and the unairconditioned truck is just too much of a pain in the butt. Most of the time I just drive the mini truck (Toyota Tacoma) and throw whatever I need to haul in the back.

I modified an M-101 trailer by removing the cast lunette and axle and replaced them with a 2" hitch and a 3500lb axle running the same size tires as my vehicle- 31x10xR15. I put the spring under the axle when I reassembled it, dropping it down to a more manageable height, and even with the tow vehicle's hitch.
