correction, just for clarity, I lost no chainmail, I did lose plate and scalemail.

Yeah, but I've heard several things that it gets fastened to, from chainmail to cloth. More research.

Going to try that. I have a Tandy Leather near me, and they have a sale coming up next month (getting ready for Ren Faire), so I'm going to pick up some stuff and see what happens. It won't be pretty, but it'll get the job done.
