    Watching episode 7 of Edwardian Farm right now. Over the holiday season I was looking for authentic Victorian Christmas info, and found the Victorian Farm show, which also had a Christmas spinoff. For those who haven't seen it, the BBC had a whole bunch of miniseries with 3 people(2 archaeologists and a historian) who live as farmers in a certain time period in England's history.(Victorian, Tudor, WW2, and Edwardian). There are also 3 other miniseries based on Victorian Pharmacies, castle life, and a new one that has something to do with the railroad. I like it because I get to see people actually USING old-time devices I've only seen pictures of in books.

    I have a copy of the Victorian Farm season....very interesting, and insightful, very worth watching. I highly recommend the series....

    Not a bad series, a bit clichéd and predictable in parts, but satisfactory entertainment, with good kibitzing value.

    I agree with @chelloveck that it was predictable in parts and sometimes I wanted a certain blonde to die a painful death because she irritated me but all in all it was a good series. One thing I noticed is that the people were dirty. Most shows, Jericho comes to mind, the characters are clean. I also noticed that they never seem to run out of ammo.
