We are currently watching Shrek 3. The first one was the best.

Been stocking up on video/computer games(and soon the winter supplies will include a few pounds of hot cocoa mix, in different flavors) in prep for a long harsh boring winter, and one of them was a frickin tease. My sister got me Final Fantasy Origins for playstation for my birthday, and it had Final Fantasy 1 and 2 updated slightly(8 bit to 16 bit graphics), but they had intro vids for the games that were current standards where it's so lifelike. I have been watching this one repeatedly:

Watching that and then playing the 16bit graphics is like following up my food high(buffalo steak, sauteed mushrooms, mashed potatoes and gravy with blueberry shortcake for desert) with a bowl of Ramen...

 

LOL. I play Hellgate London, and Dioblo 2 with expansion pack.

 

To help me pass the winter by, I have Final Fantasy 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 10-2, and 12 for my PlayStation(plus a street fighter type game called Legend of the Dragon I believe, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, and a bowling game). I will be getting Final Fantasy 3-6 and 9 soon. For my computer I have Age of Empires(original and the Rise of Rome expansion), Age of Empires II, Age of Mythology with Titans expansion, SimFarm, SimCity and SimCity2000, SimTower, Civilization(the original), Civilization 2 Test of Time, Civilization 2 Call To Power, and Civilization 3. Plus an original NES console with Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Crystalis, Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, and Super Mario Bros 3.

Gonna pretend to go to bed now. As in I will be in bed playing Final Fantasy 2 until I can't stay awake anymore.

 

Last night, CSI (on DVD, so no mind-numbing commercials). During the day, nothin' worth mentioning. Tonight, Attack of the Crab Monsters!

 

Just got done watching seasons 3 and 4 of Leverage on DVD(was at library and saw them and grabbed them since season 3 was just starting when we got TV shut off). I watched them all the way through, then went back and watched them all over again, this time with the commentaries. Found it interesting that a tidbit the writers/producers mention over and over again is that the staff does research for the episodes(like on what business industry they will be focusing on), and that what they show on Leverage is actually the 'whitewashed' version of what really goes on in said industries.

 

hmm, I'm thinking I'm watching Societal Collapse.

maybe The End of the Middle Class.

or possibly Death of Freedom.

this evening. Not sure which one to watch first.

Well look at the bright side, you don't have to choose, you can watch them all at once. Now THAT'S progress.

Right now I'm watching letters appear on the screen. Couple minutes ago I was watching Psycho Time for our kitties.
