    I have over 1500 VHS and well over a 1000 DVD ,
I don't care for horror or B movies , thrillers are OK sometimes , a little disappointed with, Alien Covenant .
If I see a movie at a theater I like ,I will wait till I can get it on the sale table for $5. or $10 if it is particularly good.
Some movies like Avatar just didn't come down, so I ended up paying $15. for it.
it's nice to be able to pick through the library and check out something I haven't seen in a while. I have spare player/recorders as well.
I was kind of hoping that they would start putting movies on fire sticks or SD cards , but I haven't seen it yet .
Swap meets and yard sales are good resources. .50 or a dollar for most. or make a deal for the box of movies.
I like all the, "Jurassic park "
    The Edge.
    Must love Dogs,
    star treck
10 things I hate about you.
Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy .
    Robo cop.
    Short circuit.
    laurel and Hardy

    Okay, well...

    V for Vendetta
Everything to do with Babylon 5
    Batman Begins
    Boondock Saints
    Eagle Eye
    Enemy of the State
    Fight Club
    Red Dawn
    The Matrix Trilogy
Sons of Liberty (3 part series)
    Sucker Punch
    The Postman

You may notice a bit of a trend. There are plenty of great movies I really like, but those are my only favorites thus far, sans one or two I didn't feel like sharing. Plus, anything with midgets or sexy female porn stars tops the list of great movies, but that kinda goes without saying. I think V for Vendetta would still be number one for me.

A History of Violence is excellent. I give it two thumbs. Warning. There is violence. Also sex. If either of these things upsets you you should skip it. Thanks.

I may have to look into that one.
Rated R for brutal violence, graphic sexuality, nudity, language and some drug use 96 minutes
However, wife may not like me watching that!

Being There- because I like to watch
Key Largo- it's all about modesty and courage
Saving Private Ryan- it's all about duty and obligation
The Shootist- it's all about final choice
Sleepy Hollow- it's all about ghosts chopping heads off Dutch and I have worked with Dutch enough to realize that is a viable option.

  20. 1941 with Akroyd and Belushi? Some humor, not worth paying to see unless you are a real fan. No one mentioned "Sergeant Rutledge" with Woody Strode. John Ford movie filmed in monument valley. And how about original the "Red dawn" with Ben Johnson?
