Let's see: If we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if Congress lies to us it's just politics. If we dislike a black person, we're a racist and if a black dislikes whites, it's their 1st Amendment right. The government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims. In public schools you can teach that homosexuality and lesbianism is ok, but you better not use the word God in the process. You can murder a child in the mothers womb, but it's wrong to execute a mass murderer. We don't burn books in America, we now rewrite them. We got rid of the communist & socialist threat by renaming them progressives. If you protest against Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burn an American flag or George Bush in effigy, it's your 1st Amendment right. ➔ You can have pornography on TV or the internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas. In America, criminals are now called sick people. The government takes money from those who work hard & gives it to those who are lazy. Parenting has been replaced with Ritalin & video games. The land of opportunity is now the land of hand outs. ➔ And how do we handle a major crisis today? The Government appoints a committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes, then tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their reelection campaign. ➔ An 80 year old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a Muslim woman in a burka is only subject to having her neck and head searched. ➔ You can get arrested for expired tags on your car but not for being in the country illegally. ➔ Your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more of our money. ➔ A seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for calling his teacher "cute" but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable. ➔ The Supreme Court of the United States can rule that lower courts cannot display the 10 Commandments in their courtroom, while sitting in front of a display of the 10 Commandments. ➔ Children are forcibly removed from parents who appropriately discipline them while children of "underprivileged" drug addicts are left to rot in filth infested cesspools. ➔ Working class Americans pay for their own health care (and the health care of everyone else) while unmarried women are free to have child after child on the "State's" dime while never being held responsible for their own choices. ➔ Hard work and success are rewarded with higher taxes and government intrusion, while slothful, lazy behavior is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid and subsidized housing, and free cell phones. ➔ The government's plan for getting people back to work is to provide 99 weeks of unemployment checks (to not work). ➔ Being self-sufficient is considered a threat to the government. ➔ Politicians think that stripping away the amendments to the constitution is really protecting the rights of the people. ➔ The rights of the Government come before the rights of the individual. ➔ Parents believe the State is responsible for providing for their children. ➔ You pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big screen TV while your neighbor defaults on his mortgage (while buying iphones, TV's and new cars) and the government forgives his debt and reduces his mortgage (with your tax dollars). Your government can add anything they want to your kid's water (fluoride, chlorine, etc.) but you are not allowed to give them raw milk. ➔ Being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you "safe". ➔ You have to have your parent’s signature to go on a school field trip but not to get an abortion. ➔ Using the "N" word is considered "hate speech" but writing and singing songs about raping women and killing cops is considered "art". SURELY WE SHALL REAP WHAT WE HAVE SOWN."
And they tell us this will make a better society? Let the call to the commons come I am more than ready.
Its not the country where I grew up, this I know. I'm just sitting back waiting for the collapse, should happen any time now. Embrace the suck ! Perhaps we can get things right the next time around.
Have really lost faith in my fellow "americans". At least the worthless POSs who put the head POS back into office. My preps and third box priorities have taken on a more serious need. Can just see my "what's his name" voting neighbor come whining when hungry/cold.
So true and so sad. Really makes one thing where we have gone. Double speak is a real thing, not fiction.
