@Alanaana thank you for the encouragement.
Something that I struggle with is, as odd as it sounds, eating. Early in life I adopted an "eat to cope" mechanism. So when I'm stressed -I eat, anxious - I eat, bored - I eat, depressed - I eat. I eat to "feel good". But do I really? When I over eat, I get bummed out, then I think "I know that was wrong I need to stop doing it" and resolve to quit emotional eating.
Then the next day as I'm going for the food it's "well, it's beef jerky it's good for me", or "It's not that bad I'll be alright" and the downward spiral continues.
There are days I can resist the inner food demon, but there are more days that I can't. The struggle is real, at least for me.
I've tried drinking more water, keeping toothpick handy, doing exercises to fight the urge to eat something, anything.
Eating food to me is almost an addiction. IF helps some but listening to my body and overriding my brain (emotions) is very difficult sometimes.

I never really understood the need to close the indoor pool, because the high amounts of chlorine in the water should kill everything, including the swimmers. Seriously, the air reeked of chlorine and the indoor pool should have been one of the safest places to be during Covid. My nose and eyes burned, it dried my skin, and made my nails and hair brittle! I took a shower before I got into the pool so that I wouldn't absorb so much of the pool water...now that I think about it, maybe swimming isn't so healthy after all!

I’m at 208 for my 208 weigh-in for Saturday’s Jiu Jitsu tournament. I shouldn’t have to cut a finger or toe off.

Alanna is a tremendous source of inspiration.
Tomorrow I'm tearing down an old house. Not much exercise sitting in a tractor seat pulling levers?

Afraid I didn't do too spiffy after having one of these about 10 days ago Carotid endarterectomy
Seems a tractor will jerk that neck and head abouts enough to tickle those stitches.
Down for the count and home sipping whiskey.
