    I rolled with my boy yesterday in class, nasty. I’m just trying to survive, lol. Our coach has a wicked arm lock that we’re working on this week. Hard to describe but terrifying. Lol.

    I'm getting hernia surgery this morning. It will be good to get this fixed and advance my health with real exercise

    Hernia surgery canceled because heart has a runaway pulse. Now getting checked into ICU for possible heart procedure.They are going to put me in a patient room if the jumper cables don't do the trick.

    Nothing new to report. Work interfered with class a few times in the last couple of weeks, 5 car vs poles in the last 7 days! I’ll be back in class tomorrow at 5 AM god-willing.

    All good. I got home yesterday.

    My body is pretty quiet with 1/3 the heartbeats.

    I got a 5 mile walk in the woods today.

    I’m going to do my run today after a few days of rest. I’ve been stretching out my sore hip/groin area and icing it once a week or so. It’s a nagging SOB.

    How was your run? Make sure that you take it easy. I have also been nursing an injury. I think I got overzealous last month and injured my rotator cuff when I was attempting those wide grip pull ups. I couldn't comfortably raise my arms for a few weeks. I still did my workouts, but had the back off the weight and modify a lot. Thankfully on the mend.

    I decided to reattempt going sugar free again. This is in honor of my dad. I thought about it last week, but it was an emotional rollercoaster of a week... Every time I did a workout I would end up in tears because it would remind me of my dad. I wish he would've made his health more of a priority rather than giving up...

    He was my original workout partner. Before I was born, he did the Seattle to Portland bike ride in one day. He also did the RAMROD (Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day) before there was a lottery for it. Some of my fondest memories were when he would pull me around the lake in the burley trailer on his bike and then we would get strawberry milkshakes. I was 3... When I was 11, we did the STP together in two days on our tandem. We would wake up early in the morning, rain or shine and he would bike with me before work to train. Even though he was so busy with work, he always showed up for my swim meets, recitals, and performances. I miss him so much...

    This week I started being able to do workouts without crying...

    Last week I discovered coconut chacha sunflower seeds --the kind that you peel. They are supposively "sugar free", but say that there is sucralose. I noticed that it really stimulated the munchiness in me and yesterday I fed them to the compost pile.
    Today is day #2. I am making 2 exceptions: stevia in my morning coffee and on my birthday I'm going to have whatever I want. Lol.
    I'm so glad that all of you are here and continuing to work towards your goals. I'm dedicating every workout to you and him.
