what is your slug?

    what kind of deer slugs do you use? rifled or sabots?

    I don't know that I've actually ever shot any sabots , but I do keep plenty of rifled slugs around although the only thing I have shot with them are cans of paint and paper targets.

    I only shoot rifled slugs. We have had a couple of wild cows and they do a number on them. :D

    I've always just used rifles slugs, but only because I didn't have a rifled barrel. With the cost of sabots... ouch.

    I've got faith enough in the slugs, I've made a 100 yard shot on a doe (my longest) from a Remington 870- 20ga. Shots around here hardly ever get more than 100 or so yards anyway.
