I have no need for a drone that can carry a dummy. It would have been more convincing if the "human" on board had waved during one of those fly-bys. Yes, there was a shot of a guy sitting in it who was moving on his own, but I'm still not convinced it was other than a cargo drone. Sure did get a lot of face time, and commercial promotional stuff.
If they don't build in some parasol stability they'll have chance to learn how to land upside down when one of those peripheral engines croaks. I don't think you'll find any human alive that'll ride in a drone piloted by some dude on the ground. They're working their way up to a manned aircraft, but I think they still have a lot of hoops to jump through. I've seen people who are WAY ahead of these guys.
