    Now if Mech-Tech could be convinced to build a double barrel carbine conversion unit for it,say in 10mm,.45Super,or.460R it might be a really interesting concept.

    Not sure what "funny combination" gun you are talking about, but the Savage 24 is a great survival gun with rifle calibers up to 3030 over shotguns up to 12 gauge.

    MountainMan, I think he was refering to the Crossfire. It originally was Semi-Auto/Pump Over and Under 12Ga/.308 but never made it into production. Then they came out with the 12Ga/.223 which they built a few. I had two of the .308 versions on order but they never were produced. Nice concept, by very heavy. .... YMMV....
