Why can't we edit tags?

LOL! I love B's tags. He makes the best ones. Thank you for the reminder @Brokor that I should be more liberal when tagging. I tend to use one or two tags. I am glad the membership got a refresher on the tag system with this thread bump & discussion.

 

I printed a list off once and it was pages long. FYI- only Melbo can remove or delete a tag from the system.

 

I looked and do not see the option. I know we had an up-grade that changed some of the tag features. We used to be able to put our cursor on the title of the thread and it would show if it was tagged. That feature went away and M said that it was not longer an option. I keep hoping the old tag feature will come back. Made things easier.

 

On other forums what I do before I make a new post is I will open the "most popular tags" page and be sure to add those tags that apply to my post.
Then when reading tags I some times find a new tags and go back and add new tags or change tags on my old posts.
The other vbb forms allowed 5 tags, that was usually enough.
