    Hello, I'm wildbilly. I used to be on Silent Country, but that site is down to just a few members and is dying a slow death. I have visited this site for a while and have liked what I have seen. I am a Southerner, about 60. I am also a Christian, WASP, farmer, businessman, college educated, conservative, gun owning, hunter, fisherman and prepper.

    Oh, I almost forgot. You won't find a better bunch of people, than the members of this forum.

    Good Morning and Welcome to Survival Monkey! Florida Monkey here. Constitutionalist, Haven't given up on America yet. In fact will be voting my choices and beliefs within the hour. I hope you participate and vote as well. Some do and some don't. All I can say is, every eligible citizens vote is needed.

    Enough of that. There is tons of info at this site and people who are quite knowledgeable in more topics than you can imagine. Things mostly stay civil and family friendly. Our Moderators are diligent and fair. Our code of conduct is pretty easy to understand and not run afoul of. I hope you share some of that knowledge I am sure you have gleaned in six decades. We Seniors need too help most of these young whipper snappers. LOL
