Will Kavanaugh be confirmed?

Imagine the melt down if a fully qualified judge with seven clean FBI background checks dating from just after law school to the present day is denied a Presidential appointment to a job that is the peak of his chosen profession by the false accusations of a skilled psychologist who has demonstrated mastery over verbal and non-verbal communication on national TV before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Professor Ford's performance was designed to show mousey vulnerability and elicit sympathy from the TV viewing audience. She did so with a warble "crackle fry" tone in her voice, an upward tonal swing in the way she ended of most of her sentences (like a little girl), and her hair repeatedly falling in her face, and getting tangled in her large glasses (appearing disheveled).

She even dressed in a solid blue outfit, just as Anita Hill did in 1991 during testimony against Justice Clarence Thomas. A lot of psy-op manipulative buttons were pushed with her performance. Ms. Blasey Ford definitely has some emotional problems, but only in her wildest imagination (through hypnosis-retrieved, or possibly induced recall) was Judge Kavenaugh the cause of it 36 years ago.

 

That would indeed be an excellent nomination. It would maintain the same number of women on the court, and eliminate that as a factor. There will still be a circus, but at least it won't have changing the gender dynamic of the court to fight over.

 

Unless trump wants to turn the dnc into open mic night at the looney bin again.

Just imagine what they could dig up on hillery if some one can remember Kavanagh waving his sausage at them more than 30 years ago.

Only dead people would be voting democrat after that file is released.

 

I wonder if Ms Barrett would accept such an appointment. After the allegations against Kavanaugh, who would want to put their family thru that? The damage done to his family vs the position, would you put your family through that?

Turns out the FBI has proof that Ford helped her friend retired FBI agent Monica McLean prepare for a lie detector test which perjures her sworn testimony in front of Congress, but also that Ms. McLean and other friends of Ford tried to pressure Leland Kaser to change his statement.

"A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators that she felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.

Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.

The statement to the FBI offers a glimpse into how Dr. Ford’s allies were working behind the scenes to lobby old classmates to bolster their versions of the alleged incident, as were Judge Kavanaugh’s."​

That vote is outrageous! He (Mr. Kavanaugh) should have received much more support than that. Another case, proving the liberals have no desire to work together in a bipartisan way.

I never thought it would happen. It amazes me that 50 politicians stood their ground and didn't cave. Sadly it does not restore all my faith in them but it helps a bit.

 

it's over for Kavanaugh - but there's at least half dozen investigations going in regard to the whole Feinstein/Ford bullcrap part of the Senate Hearings >>> Grassley has asked for all the correspondence & contact between the DNC and Ford's attorney squad ....

 

I'd like to see investigations into the nice folks who bring us all this drama. Former CIA and FBI connections seem to pop up with too much regularity. There have been some extremely odd things done by two former Secretaries of State, that seem to get a pass.

When your "beach friends" have FBI connections, I have to ask for more details. Feinstein/Ford investigation will be fffffffun.
