We could have really used this in the 80s/90s cruising. Technology has allowed just about anyone to sail the oceans today. Unfortunately some rely on the technology without the fundamentals of navigation and get themselves in trouble. I used to copy morse code and hand draw my weather charts with the isobars and fronts. This usually took an hour in the early morning. Now with just about all things interfaced the skipper can just see all pertinent info real time. But I imagine that leaves more time for chores GB
