Since it's sweetened it would be fortified wine. Probably cheaper just to buy the Mad Dog instead. It should work - some of my friends were known to let the OJ from the cafeteria ferment in their lockers at school.
I would think the added pectin could be an issue, but; maybe not... I think I have some wine yeast around somewhere
Similar to the procedure for hooch or "prison wine". The added sugar will generate massive hangovers though.
It should work. I made a batch from a #10 can of cranberry jelly once. I did add 2# of raw honey as a yeast nutrient though. It came out "just-ok". We drank it but I didn't make it again.
