He said: "I am assuming it is a misguided joke. But it is disgusting. "In particular because a resident of Berlin was murdered by a cannibal not too long ago." It is thought that he was referring to self-styled cannibal Armin Meiwes who was sentenced to life in 2006 after killing and eating a fellow Berliner who volunteered for the task. ROFL, freaking Berliners. Ich liebe Deutschland, but holy cow.
We went through a cannibalistic interest period the last time I was deployed. We watched The Donner Party, Van Dieman's Land, and read ALIVE. In the end, most all agreed that even in a survival situation.... it's not worth the cost to your soul. Even though it's really not written anywhere, all agreed that it still does something to the soul. Sick.
With enough Tabasco, ANYTHING is edible........ Used to be a site called "ManBeef" (a parody, NOT the real thing) - it closed but at least one hunting site I go to occasionally still posts about it when things get too quiet. Dark humor, but fun when the mood hits you......
