Ordered a simple 175 Amp Anderson Type connector. Here is what I am now up to trying to receive what I ordered. 5 messages sent and maybe I'll make my point. Below is the last email. ""Here's the deal. Attached is a picture of the Box and contents and though it may say it is a QC1 and you list it as a 175 amp rating that does not match the paper work inside the box. As the paper work says a QC1 is a 120amp product. Then again using search of the product Bar Code of X000YPSK4X indicates the product is in fact a 75 amp product. Confused yet? Yup a lot of different numbers and rating of a given product. Maybe a CHINA problem?
thanks @techsar @HK_User here ya go Anderson Power Products SB175 Series Heavy Duty Power Connectors | Mouser
Problem solved. The Box was made in Mexico, the paper in Brazil, the part in China. Maybe the manufacture doesn't speak electronese ?
Seems they want me to trust a few lines of print! "Hello, It seems as if you did receive the correct one. The SKU on the box is correct. The paperwork could be a misprint. We are trying to check with the factory, but it could take awhile. If it does not work for you, please let us know. Regards," Looks Like a slam dunk for a local fire department. RTO Number Requested and Done with that place.
I really hate it when people sell you stuff and they don't understand their own product. They probably have no clue what a current rating is and why it might, just might be important. I ran into the same problem when trying to purchase a high current DC switch a few years ago.
