   I have an old Gateway 2000 laptop, running XP that I used to use... Now I have a XP Virtual Machine that runs all that stuff, thru a Network USB Server, connected to a USB/Serial Cable.. for Radio Programing.. if I need to go Remote Site, I have a MacBook that runs the same XP Virtual Machine, connected thru the same USB/Serial Cable... Easy Piezy....

   My Motorola problem is that cpu speed over 66mhz will brick some of the radios.
