She normally sells it to few mom and pop places but this year, she has not made a batch. Our grandaughter is allergic to mosquito bites. Doctor prescription, but she say nothing works better than the bug butter.
She uses yarrow and makes a wound care too. ALL the knifemakers that know of it buys her out when we attend knife shows. It REALLY stops the bleeding and heals spooky quick. Its a blend of yarrow and bentonite clay. Not made enough to sell this year.

Sometimes I will play my favorite game on my PC, it's called "TheHunter: Call of The Wild" and it's available through Steam or console (XBox and PS) In this photo, I've downed not one, but two beautiful Sika Deer as they were drinking. As luck had it, my aim was true and they both fell directly where they were...

Here are the stats on these Diamond ranked deer.

If anybody is interested, I'd wait for the game to go on sale, probably this fall. It's worth the asking price, but you can save a ton on sale.

This one has now moved to my engraving room. Mammoth ivory handle, the guard is 4140 and will have a bit of gold inlay before being color case hardened.

I don't think I've fired "Rusty" up in five or six years. I think the pump cup is still made from an oiled cardboard and plastic antifreeze jug. Fired right off on the fuel that was in it. Man that gave it to me said it had hung outside his trailer for ten years. The vines, mud dauber nests and rusted pump tube sure looked like it had been longer. We worked side by side in the same shop for a couple decades. He watched me as I cleaned the rusty old 220E up at work, made a field expedient pump cup, ran a brake cylinder ball hone through the rusty pump tube, filled it with brake cleaner and scrounged some mantles from my camping stuff in the car. We had it going at work that afternoon. He loved his Fireball. Probably contributed to his early death. So this one is for Tom. He'd be pleased to see that old "Rusty" is still making light, and keeping his memory alive in my heart.
