Great way to meet girls at the range. When they're walking by, you let the magazine tube shoot out "by accident." It stops them in their tracks and makes you look approachable.

Always worked for me and the Winchester 63. YMMV.

Bernz O Matic Dual Beam is the same as Sears and J.C. Higgins 7112. There were several variations.

Some time before 1868 Robert Hitchcock thought "Let's put a supercharger on this flat wick lamp."
and The Hitchcock Lamp was born.

Christmas day our dishwasher started giving us an error, heating element not working. Ordered the new part (pump and heating element are integrated). It wasn't bad, $75 shipped to me.
Here is the old part, wire leading to the heating element is fried.

This was close to setting our home on fire. A day or two before we got the error I remember the smell of something burning, like trash burning, in the house but couldn't track it down.
Glad that we didn't have to buy a new dishwasher, also thankful we still have our house!

Worked on my truck yesterday. Needed to remove the front wheels to change brake parts out. Found out the last shop I had work on my truck put a bit too much ugga-ugga on the lug nuts.
    upload_2026-1-20_6-51-23.

That picture was after I took most of the bend out, but I don't think that tool is good anymore with all the bending.
Had to break out the 3/4" breaker bar and add another 18" pipe to that to break them free. Glad I didn't have a flat on the side of the road! I have a torque wrench that is just a pointer style, maxes out at 200 ft/lbs. The torque on all of the lugs on the passenger side maxed the gauge out, these should be torqued to 140ft/lbs per the owners manual.
I think I'll get a set of 3/4" sockets and breaker bar and keep them in the truck for road side emergencies!

i do all my 4x4 1 ton lugs at 75ftlb. never had a wheel come loose and i can get the fucking thing off. anti-seize is your friend.
so i bit a ditch last year and steering link tweaked the steering wheel 1/4 turn. got stuck last week and the link would just bend with turning the wheels. shit metal, fatigue? if it happens again il straighten it and weld angle iron to it. almost funny.
