Santa hooked me up this year.
Carpal tunnel was making it really hard for me to hang onto my Glock 21, guess it's time to scale down a tad. Heading to the range today to give it a whirl!

I raised him to think of safety first. The youngest got a deep fryer for Christmas. I was so proud when he got out a fire extinguisher!

 

I thought this was interesting. Boise & Red Cross are pushing people to have a box for emergencies. I thought this was a great idea.

 

My wife kept wanting a boxer so I rescued one from the pound. I think I did good. Both sound asleep. Now I have to listen to both of them snore at night. The dog is a two year old female that had been abused. They are inseparable.

 

Just got back from camping up at Glen Coe, took a drive up Glen Etive to find these guys hanging out by the road....

 

Do you need me to come in and straighten that crap out ?

I've been remodeling our kitchen for going on a year and a half now. Some stuff I can do by myself, some I need an extra set of hands (apparently I can't hold and cut a 12 ft countertop all by myself, who knew), so it's been slow going. However, the first section we started on is FINALLY done.

Notice I have incorporated the liquor cabinet (upper right cabinets)/shotglass racks/wine bottle rack with the laundry. Strategic, no? We pulled the original lower cabinet out and moved it over to the right side cabinet run, and just put all new lowers in back there.

Second section is 99% done, just letting paint on last cabinet doors to set up before I hang them. Third section, the worst one since it's the sink side, just pulled the upper cabinet doors off this morning. Hoping to get to countertop/sink stage by this weekend, gotta get the uppers totally sanded/filled/painted before that happens tho. Don't wanna drip paint all over a new countertop.

My Christmas cactus is getting ready to bloom!

 

I posted a to do picture in the motivational poster thread. I have had my shower head soaking for over 12 hours. The recipe for cleaning a shower head said half water, half white vinegar. I used 100% vinegar because we had quite the mineral build up. I hope it works.
