    This KC-135A model tanker is on display at Castle AFB in California. Castle was the B-52 and KC-135 flying training school until about 1991 I think.
    I was there in 1973.

    I cross referenced the tail number with my flight hour log and realized I did indeed train on this jet.
    It really sucks when the jet you trained on is in a museum...

    No, I would bring along the most venerable and extremely dangerous .22 caliber Henry for an excursion such as this. You know, in case any bear would happen by, I want to be certain I can drop it in a single shot. I might have to watch out for the shot being too powerful as the travel through could damage a tree. These are the chances we take with powerful .22 rifles, though. If I could only ask Gunkid what he thought...

    This particular place is a private camp ground, I prefer it over risking being anywhere else in PA since there are so many laws and restrictions. I would rather be safe and covered than caught in some protected state game land with a fire started and a game warden on my heels.
