Purty, but how's she shoot?

 

Not as good as she looks, but it could've been the load or the shooter. I think I made him a little defensive when I mentioned that NCIS had questioned a retired armorer friend of mine about where he'd acquired his scopes. He went through a whole list of places that sell the pieces that make up the rifle, never mentioning that he had gotten any of the parts there... only that they sell them. I told him it'd be a good idea to keep his receipts. That rifle looked like it just walked out of the Infantry Weapons shop.

 

These have been in my freezer for three years, unwashed in a cotton pillowcase. Not one bit of freezer burn or taste. My grandmother taught me. These are right out of the freezer.

Do not wash them. It will make ice crystals form. They don’t even stick together.

 

Does anyone else find this hilarious? Why would you lock it......Why????!!!!!

I'd lock it, fence it, and have somebody keep an eye on it. Between the scrappers who will spend 30 minutes digging a rusty squashed barrel out of a muddy job site, and the organized theft rings that roll in and steal two 40' grain silos and ALL the hog feeders from a barn, I wouldn't take any chances.

 

I go away for 1 freaking minute and somebody steals my seat!

So I book on out this am and set it free,Seemed healthy enough, My neighbors now call me the deer whisperer?
