Usually, I try to finish this earlier in the season. But I have been busy and only got to it today. Made my annual Kalikimaka seasoning mix for friends and family. Folks generally like it. Was even asked to make it commercially. But that would involve too many hoops to jump through and it would be work. Can't have that! Will have the monkeys drop off to our neighbors tomorrow. Saved one for you, @Bear.
Nothing like that. Just some spices with a sea salt base. One of my friends told me she and her husband used it as a rub for grilling steaks. They had visitors from the mainland who were self proclaimed steak snobs. After eating the steak, they took home all of my friend's seasoning mix. I found out about it when she asked me for more. It's funny, I have been making this for years and I never measure. I am hard pressed to taste any difference from year to year. Very weird. I guess the eyeball measure is fairly consistent.
Samples? hmm wondering if we are talking him into it? as long as this isn't like @Bear 's sour dough experiments
Ouch! @Ganado .... Next year you better hope Santa doesn't deliver a special present for you because of that comment LOL... Merry Christmas to you too!
Lol the good experiments were really good. It's the ones you left in the fridge that worry me Merry Christmas @Bear
