Moto’s Monkey Challenge, Round II

Last year was a great success so lets do it again......I challenge all monkeys. From June 9 to June 25th the monkey challenge will be to post threads on topics related to this site (Survival Monkey). Your threads can be on bush craft, survival, prepping, green patch, comms, product reviews, reading room material -your choice; the only requirement is that it adds to this site.

Prizes: Amazon Gift Cards- $50 for first place and $25 for second.

On June 26th the top 5 threads started will be selected and I will create a poll for members vote on the best threads.

Rules:
When entering the Moto’s Monkey Challenge please use a ^^^^ in your title therefore it will be easy to identify.

^^^^If all entries could be posted in the General Discussion, to keep all entries in one area, that would make things easier. We will move them after the challenge.

@Yard Dart @Brokor your help would be greatly appreciated in tagging & editing.

Question on the how the Top 5 threads are picked from all the threads -- are they picked either by interest level or number of responses generated? I was thinking of doing a review of an item recently acquired. But I suppose if no replies are generated it may not be considered a Top 5.

I'm not asking that you "give away" how you will pick the top 5 since then people may cater to what you write. Rather, I ask that you include a wide variety of threads, including uniqueness, usefulness, and interest generated by the thread among other things.

Thanks for the link, I just read the entire thread. There was some wonderfully creative thread drift there.

 

Last year it was by views and responses. But the views were one of the biggest factors. I know there are some that look and do not comment. The top five last year were a variety and one was a review ** Review of Crimson Trace Laser Grips | Survival Monkey Forums I really liked it and it was in the top 5. I will find last years voting thread and link that also.
