.22 has more stopping power than a .45?

    I did a little non gelatin velocity/damage testing the other day.

    One day I checked the Prickly Pear's resistance to a few 22LR, a few days later I checked again with a 5.56.

    Went back a week late and even though both rounds were the same size the damage of one above the other was dramatic.

    Took pictures then, I'll have to find them and will up load. Shows what velocity does even on thin skinned Cacti.

    I like sticks. Can very likely stop someone with one. And if they are that close to me, I have a decent case of self defense.
