If it truly is liquid bread, then it should work. I appreciate all of you considering the water fast, but, a beer fast? Think about it.
I'd prefer a 26 day beer FEST. In all seriousness, monks used to live on beer during lent while they fasted. The heavy Bock beers they made had enough sustenance to keep them well fed.
Example: S.T.A.G - Steak, Taters, And Gravy. Ya, if your gonna survive on beer don't go for light. I myself like Killians, good stout lager.

I think I would have been a poor excuse for a monk, but a good excuse for a monkaholic! Pixie - If you like killians style, you should see if you can find the following red ale: Eric the Red by Dragonmead Brewery in Warren, MI. Not sure if Illinois has it, but it is smooth and enjoyable -- perfect accompaniment to a 26 day beer fast!
