First of all, beeg mahalos go to the ever generous Bear for contributing kit for the 4H kids. Our brother monkey is generous beyond compare. Very appreciated. The kids parents and grandparents thought it was very cool too. As you may know, in 4H, we have bi-monthly meetings that include classes as well as fun stuff like hiking and camping. Today was bow and arrow making. I didn't take a lot of pictures as it was super hot and muggy. And I was shooting the breeze. Plus the heavy sun and shadow combination made the pictures not real good. My wife met us there after a casual FOUR HOUR TWELVE MILE trail run. It was supposed to be under 3, but she got lost. Anyway, one of the pictures that came out semi ok. My monkey getting photo bombed. A group shot. And waiting for my Spanish rice with grilled chicken breasts to finish. Hungry! And thought Spanish rice was appropriate since I mentioned espada y daga in Bear's post.
Good times @Hanzo, I remember 4H well and enjoyed it growing up in Montana. And the food does look tasty
Was busy scarfing! Had otoro, hamachi, ikura, spicy tuna, negitoro, and so on. Here's a little monkey pounding down a bunch of sushi. Not the best quality since I was using the front camera so I could see. Surely you recognize the mask. Looks just like me.
