This is sourced from RT (Russia Today) Interesting story about a fellow who, after a visit, decided to move to Russia. At one point, buys an abandoned collective and now is a successful farmer. I found what he had to say - interesting. It is a long vid, but IMO, worth watching. YMMV
Companion piece on farming in general and in Siberia specifically. Again, instructive.\ This is one sourced from The Farmworld_TV YouTube channel is supported by means of the contents of the two independent film makers, Jörn and Tammo Gläser (www.landtechnikvideos.de). In their films the pair have for many years been showing and explaining agriculture and farm machines throughout the world. All their documentary films are made without sponsors and therefore offer an independent perspective on each story. (Brits)
A little nervous when past history in the area has been that those who enforce the rules make them. No way of knowing what will happen any where in the world any more. Technology and farming are great, politics in long run may create problems.
