The hose on the M42A1 is removable from the mask; can you screw a filter directly into the mask once the hose is removed? I haven’t been able to find this out anywhere. Thanks.
Yes, this is the tanker mask and the hose can be attached to either side by a star shaped nut. The hose can also be removed and a standard NATO cannister can be attached in it's place.

Thanks guys. That link is where I found out it’s removable, it said it’s removable but it didn’t say you could screw a filter in, I assumed you could but for $40-$60 I wanted to make sure.
