More TSA BS to invade your privacy at the airports. When is it going to come down to a strip search to get on a plane. This is as close to doing it as you can get. Look closely at the photos. If I went to the airport and they wanted me to go through one of these machines I would tell them to F off and go home. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2009/12/29/magnetometers-x-rays-airport-security-technology/
Swabbing. How many people are going to be detained because they got high on their way to the airport?
Yet another way to crank up the FEAR FACTOR and keep the people in constant panic mode. Where is this leading? We already have changes to nearly every aspect of our lives since 9-11. It is becoming increasingly difficult to come up with more than two forms of acceptable I.D. to do even the most mundane tasks. Travel restrictions at airports is only the catalyst; eventually there will be a "need" for a new national ID and raising the technology bar to include chipping and even tracking. With every security measure, government increases in size and control. With every addition to our fear-mongering and policy making, the citizenry loses liberty and freedom. We have become like rats in a cage.
Yea, makes you wonder how many of these so called threats and attacks are staged by .gov to scare the sheeple into giving up their rights so they can think they are safe???
And Heaven help you if you had been doing some reloading just before going to the airport to pick up Granny....... I long for the heady days of the early 90's when I worked airport screening security. The city cop on duty freaked when I walked the .38 snubbie test object (handgun frame encased in plastic) through the metal detector with nary a peep! I trained all my co-workers to watch for this technique.... They have increased the sensitivity nowadays. But the tangos are always on a learning curve too.......
Like water....slowly etching, and dissolving even solid rock... Getting into every crevice, nook, and cranny, then.....
Everytime I hear a pretty news-kneecrosser say" keeping Americans safe"; I throw up a little into my mouth.
Terrorists will find a way to get around that and then it is the 'CHIP' people. They have mobile scanners too for public events. If they scan children it goes against child porn laws. The devices will harm your health.
