Actually bear that eat fish do not taste as well as bear that have sen eating roots and berries .

Where I'm from, they eat grass and before slaughter eat grain. The grain marbles the flesh with some fat. Which makes a better steak or roast.

Their diet is very different. So, it stands to reason their taste would be also.
