Ima go to work. I have a few tricks up my sleeve if necessary to get back home. Borrow a boat or I even know how to fly a plane in a tough spot. Never quite finished those lessons but.......I’ll be fine. :D

If Bi-den wins I'm a going to buy up Donkeys and...Poo bags to hang on the rear of the donkeys....
No gasoline means a high demand for Donkeys....and...There will be a tax on poo dropped on the roadways !
You can get around the Poo tax if you have a high quality Poo bag hanging off you're ass...
    I might need a west coast pardnah...Meat ?

ALL supplies are stocked at highest levels ever. Finished adding steel plate reinforcement to doorframes where the bolts for the locks go in yesterday. I have the vacation days to burn & its use it or lose it. So I took this 4 day work rotation off, giving me 12 days off. At worst if sumthing happens I'll be home and ready. At the least, I'll get to watch the Liberal Snowflakes cry! Be first time I've watched tv all year!!

It's too late to worry about elections at this point. When the corporations are advertising on every platform for you to get out and vote, it's a sure sign that the game is rigged. You see, it's progressed so far now, all they really need to do is convince you that you have a choice to make a difference. Elections now are meant to create legitimacy for the spectacle we call democracy, and with each one we are brought closer to the final version of the game. The two party system is a false paradigm, with both parties being incrementally radicalized with every generation. The Democrats of old who stood by many of the tenets of the Constitution have become the Liberal Socialists of today. The Republicans of yesterday who did not accept corporate bribes are now multi-millionaires with stock and will sell out to the highest bidder -free agents of chaos. War is more profitable than ever, with enemies being educated by our own system of learning and then protected, trained, and funded by the masters of deceit. Around every corner, from Academia to the Scientific arena, to the network news and social media, all of it is infested with criminals and profiteers. And so it goes, the promotion of public policy in the making...because that's how corporations roll.
    "Get Out And Vote!"

Because that will change everything, right?

Sure, I'm all for leaning to the right because those criminals will lead people over the edge of the cliff at 55 MPH, while the Leftists will take folks kicking and screaming over the edge at 125 MPH. This still doesn't change the point I am making.

Dropped off our ballots at city hall, topped off the truck and filled the last 5 gal gas can with non ethanol unleaded high test, stopped at the grocery to pick up our order, swooped by a Dutch Bros. for a giganto espresso and then headed for the barn.

I don't expect any issues where I am, but Grants Pass is twenty-five miles from here and something could pop off there or possibly in Medford thirty-five miles further South of GP.
I'm pretty happy with our situation and things are pretty much life as usual.
(I turned hermit the day I moved into this place, so bugging in is quite normal and is actually my preferred lifestyle.)

I expect nothing of interest to happen in my neck of the prairie since the nearest potential nonsense spots are 200+ and 300+ miles away. Still, never hurts to have the house well stocked, the fuel tanks all full, and enough bacon to be on the menu for a long time to come. Only thing I forgot to load up on is popcorn.

WTF Girl??? Sam's has got it in 30lb bags. I know cuz if I don't keep it in stock me and the kats will have to find another place to live..

BTW, we still use your bacon recipes around here. Takes a bit but well worth the time. Now that it's cooler it's even a better time to smoke 'em.

The local paper ran a photo of some of those folks that voted via alternative methods...they spent hours in lines at the courthouse waiting to vote. Sure sounds safe and smart to me.[sarc2]These people proved that they aren't intelligent enough to vote for dog catcher. As for myself, I'm gonna vote on Nov.3rd at the polling place down the road and I'll be done in less than 15 minutes.
As for voting by mail...my Federal tax return and refund are missing!

I'm not expecting anything to happen in my small town. We've yet to be affected throughout the continuous 4 months of Peaceful Protests in Portland.

I'm preparing to have an adult beverage, kick back relax and go to bed early as usual.

I'm pretty certain Biden will win. He's had a lot of help from some powerful friends the last 4 years. I'll be surprised if those efforts go unrewarded.

Trump has been his own worse enemy with his mouth and Twitter account, IMO.

It the board of elections in a State can estimate that the remaining outstanding mail-in ballots couldn't possibly change the outcome they will declare a winner. If enough States do that to reach 270 Electoral votes, it'll be over in a timely manner and we can get on with things. If it's closer than the percentage of outstanding mail-in ballots we look like fools to the World as we play recount games.

    Either way, I'm prepared.

Well that was a bust. I was expecting riots and loud speakers.
I pulled into the polling place, parked the car, walked to my precinct line, grabbed my ballot, completed it, dropped it in the counter and returned home in less than 30 minutes.
    where was the drama.
Oh wait, I'm in an entirely Red district. Most of the non federal and state positions only had republicans running unopposed.
Maybe that's why it was orderly and calm.
