I am sorry that a fellow prepper has passed but at least i was able to see what he felt was necessary for himself, what my kit might be lacking, and possibly purchase a few items to help out my family and his family that was left behind. Just thought i'd share my day's experience with you all.
Wow! Hope I don't up and go over to the "other" side too soon! My kids would have a field day selling off my gear!
we thought this was just a normal estate. but after about 10 seconds i knew we had found a prepper stash. I am so fortunate, my wife was excited too. she bought everything cast iron or camping related she could. i am pretty sure that my kids wouldn't sell off my stuff. My son (10) said he was going to make sure that he would be a prepper too. Now that makes this ol' man proud. He gets it! I thought he might not be listening.
I have a list of "Who Gets What". I do hope that the dissemination does not happen for a long while. I do not think that a lot will get sold, at least I hope not. Be well.
Wow he did a great job prepping. Sorry about his loss of life and for the family. I agree, looks like his family would want to keep his stuff and his values.
i picked up a NV scope with AR Mount, some ammo, hand tools, containers and a trailer. Wife got almost all of the cast iron cookware and camping equipment. got out of there for 500 bucks. scope alone retail was 675. so we did good.
