I'm not so sure about emissions either. No beans before the smog test.

 

Should be alright, I don't think they check for methane.....

 

They check for unburnt hydrocarbons, you should bring a lighter.

 

for me it would be some form of 'cargo bike'
no fuel needs, and can carry allot of gear/game across some fairly rough terrain, though not anywhere.

I can't post links, but google 'cargo bike'. I'd opt for a 'fat bike' type with 4"+ wide tires for floatation.

 

Well a mule or two is really hard to beat. But that's not a feasible purchase now. My F-250 and slide-in camper would be awesome, but they would be a target and they are getting old. Depending on the "climate" in FL and that in NC IF we went on the move it might be our mountainbikes with trailers. Canoes and supplies. I have loaded and pedalled to water that I can eventually access the Intercoastal Waterway. Again easy target, but there is no real great answer.
