Sad that the DA's office is even referring that case to a grand jury. It sounds like a case of good riddance, and it's too bad he didn't kill all of them. I'm a firm believer in the idea that some people "need killing."
Whenever deadly force is required, make DAMNED sure there's only one story to tell during the investigation!
Never shoot someone you don't intend to kill, that said, any job started with intent and forethought, should be completed.
Better yet, only say "I was in fear for my life" and then use your right to remain silent and get a lawyer.
It It was quaking in fear (cops are well know for shooting cars excessively ) and the vibrations caused combustion to occur. Sort of a self fulfilling prophesy. Death by cop, only the method was unclear.....
I notice the reporters very carefully avoided ANY sort of description of the thugs... draw your own conclusions but I am guessing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will ignore this one. I'm with DL and kellory on this one: finish the job once started. if you are going in, go ALL in. Make it easy for the police to find the perpetrators (hint: where the medical examiner is kneeling).
