That was a great experiment -- it would be difficult to try with my family being addicted to the "life of ease".

Some of the points I thought were interesting:
    • The amount of time it took to prepare meals
    • Craving for highly-processed food
    • Powdered Cocoa mix will be a great food storage item
    • Inventory: keep checking
    • Plans on how to use supplies
On the last item, OmegaMan didn't want to argue about how much hamburger the wife used in one of the meals, but left it as a lesson for later. Right or wrong, it illuminates that planning ahead on how supplies are used can make a huge impact.

Overall, it was great food-for-thought reading.
