    It has cooled down to 93 (6:20pm) but the heat index is still 111...and they are calling for higher temps tomorrow :(

    I don't care, As long as the woods finally dry out.
    There's only so far a tractor can go here until it breaks thru and sinks.

    It was about 95 here today ,, tomorrow s supposed to about 70 ,,, man that's gonna feel good .

    Here in South Georgia, we have over two weeks at 92 to 97, and no perception for almost 4 weeks. In my county alone 47 home owners (info from local health department which issue drilling permits) have had their wells run dry. Myself included. The local farmers are being paid by the gov to drop 1400 foot deep well heads that pump up to 528 gallons per minute. I have always been a friend of the farmers, but my friendship has just cost me 9k to install a deep well to 350 feet, where the water is. According to the USGS the water table has fallen 20 feet in 10 days.

    Freezing tonight. The warm is done for the year, I fear. Well, pretty soon, I can drop the mower deck off and put the snow machine on.

    63 and cloudy right now ,,high is supposed to be 67 ,, about a 25 degree drop from yesterday ,, somebody fixed that global warming thing .
