Yeah, some relatives are a blessing some of us would prefer to do without.

 

been thru a few hurricanes in the 80s (lived in south MS back then) missed Katrina by a couple of weeks moved from central MS to Florida back then.

but the worst ever was a direct hit from an EF5 tornado on April 27, 2011. had just gotten home from work, changed clothes and then WHAM here it came. rolled our travel trailer, my mom suffered a broken leg, my dad suffered a lacerated liver, i ended up with a slight back injury. it rolled our 38 foot 5th wheel onto its roof, a tree that broke stopped us from rolling further.
