Good, tell the wacky EV lover to stop it, he has been responding TO ME since page 7 obsessed stalker Electric vehicles Electric vehicles
One of your biggest points is electricity isn't that cheap over gas so it's absolutely relevant for me. What do you want me to tell? I already said my solar has nothing to do with having an electric car. You're looking for something that was never there. I get 4.4 miles per kWh in the summer and 3.6 miles per kWh in the winter. You have Google searchs I have first hand experience. You expect me to believe a Google search over my own hands on knowledge? Umm no. What percent of people pay 8 cents per kWh? I can tell you exactly how many. I don't give a shit. That's how many. I said 8 cents per kWh is the base and $31 per month surcharge look it up your self it's public record. Roosevelt county electric coop, pnm website. If you can't believe the power company website then I recommend stronger meds. My battery is already over 10 years old and has over 133,000 miles on it and does not need to be replaced, I'm thinking it will last at least 3 more years and another 45,000 miles, probably more. Your assumptions are pure ass. And then I'll just go buy another whole ass car for $3,000... The only place where providing electricity for electric vehicles seems to be a problem is California. The easy solution for than and hundreds of other problems is don't live there. Why do you keep bringing up California? Fuck California I don't care. Hopefully it falls into the ocean. It costs me around 25 cents a day to drive my car to and from work. The hybrid would cost a gallon of gas per day and would be that much closer to the next oil change. Your made up costs about replacing the battery are nothing more than a cool story. Why would I do all that when I can just go get another car for $3,000? My leaf has already lasted me over 7 years and over 100,000 miles. Sorry that my reality doesn't fit your click bait article expectations.
I didn't start it. I've been here long before you showed up and I'll still be here long after you're gone. You say I'm an EV lover? How is that when I've told you my wife and I have a hybrid car and a pickup. My advice to almost everyone who askes me about electric cars is that they probably shouldn't get one. If they're single and are only going to have 1 vehicle the question to get an electric car is an automatic no.
And the angry wacky EV lover keeps responding TO ME, as he has from the start, since page 7, unbelievable Electric vehicles Electric vehicles (I am only interested in the average person as I said MANY times) As if I give a shit about his wacky "cool story" that is relevant to almost nobody in REAL LIFE
EV or ICE it is a personal choice. In America you still can make a choice -arguing about which is better will go nowhere.
Ice is better for most people. If you only care about the average person why do you keep bringing up solar panels? Since when does the average person have solar panels? You hyper focus on the average individual and completely ignore couples who would have 2 or 3 vehicles. A surprisingly globalist position to take when you say you're against lockdowns, 15 minute cities, ect.
if you truly want to be hated,,,, start a guided tour business on jet skis. in 2000. i mean foaming at the mouth throwing monkey shit mad. it was hilarious.
Oh, 13.6 is on the road. I go offroad, I can get her down to like 5 mpg in 4LO with center diff locked on the seasonal roads and logging trails ... running premium at 4.49/gal. But that's only a few times a year. I'd be better off buying a UTV and trailering it up to the trailhead and taking off from there but no. Imma send it. But my 5300 pound rig is going straight to the bottom if I try fording anything over 36" No floatation here.
Picked this beater up 2 weeks ago, Ram 1500 longhorn 5.7 4x4 Balls to the wall Echo, Surprised me at a trip to the state line and back, 21.3 mpg. My F-150 has never gotten much over 18 with the wind at my back drafting an 18 wheeler...hahaha Blow me EV's!!!
