I have seen demonstration of hydrogen being drawn off water right on the vehicle. Why is this technology not being exploited?
It's fake, bullshit. Closest thing to a free ride is an electric car and solar panels after you pay for the electric shit box and all the solar panels.
Read on news max survey was taken on people who own electric cars would they buy again over 50% responded they were going back to gas cars
I don't think it's that high. A car and driver article from a year or 2 ago says it's more like 20% of people who definitely aren't getting an electric car for their next car. Maybe 50% have considered not getting another electric or thinking about it. Only about 20% are definitely getting another electric car again. Have to consider that people tired of having an electric car were more likely to respond. Jd power also says Tesla's are unreliable shit boxes having only slightly fewer problems than the chicom electric shit box. Just search "jd power 2024 initial reliability survey". The idea that electric cars are simpler and will last longer is just an urban legend. AAA says they get calls from electric cars at 60% the rate of gas powered cars. Only problem there is in the US the average gasoline car is 13 years old and the average electric car is less than 4 years old.
I read that Newsmax article as well. Plus it was on the news also. My brother inlaw along with a co worker got rid of there electric cars and purchased a new gas powered car.
Electric vehicle depreciation, like a shit sandwich minus the bread and no gloves on top of that. I got mine after it had depreciated approximately 80% of MSRP. I could likely sell it today for 70% to 80% of what I paid for it in 2018.
I genuinely want an efficient EV in 4x4 that can match the performance of my TLC (or at least 80%) and which has at least 75% the range and can be charged stationary or on the go with roof mounted lightweight solar panels. Till then me and my diesel Landcruiser will remain acquainted
Roof mounted panels can realistically only capture a kWh or 2 per day. An electric ute will likely get between 2 and 3 miles per kWh and be almost as dirty as a diesel powered ute, as John Cadogan explained in another video from several days prior.
Hurricane warning for EV if they get flooded with salt water they can catch on fire also power outage you ain't going any where
Seems to me people should know better than to get a EV knowing flooding is going to be a problem. EVs are not foul weather cars.
I avoid flooded streets in my leaf which was tested by myth busters to a depth of 2 meters, it just fried all the 12v electronics. I don't trust this new shit.
Not a problem for me. I keep hearing "electric cars will last longer" not if shit rusts out after 10 years.
How to get people to go electric. And that tells you everything you need to know about electrics. They're so good they have to make gasoline unaffordable to get people to buy them. You don't have to buy and electric car. You can buy a gas car and pay $10 a liter for gas.
Imagine, if you will, that you are in south Florida, a hurricane is approaching, you are evacuating and that you are diving an EV. How far are you going to get before you have to recharge? How long is it going to take? Are you going to make it?
My old leaf definitely wouldn't be able to make it out of south Florida unless it was on a trailer. If I had to pack my shit and go I'd be hard pressed to take up approximately 5'x10' and 4,000lb of trailer capacity with my leaf on account of it only being worth $6,000 to $8,000. Only thing that might save it is the fact it's a rain proof container that I could pack full of other shit.
Ford is suspending EV truck production --no body wants them. To get rid of what the made buy one get a free home electric hook up. This is hat happens when the leftist government dictates what people must buy ----people don't comply
