Of course I sew, I was #2 son, the daughter she never had... I can cook too, sewed replacement seat covers for my 240Z, wish I had an industrial sewing machine.

Brokor, T. Riley and kellory like this.

What good prepper male can not sew.... and if not, why?! That is the bigger question.....

I learned to sew from mom when I was young. We could not afford to buy new clothes each time we ripped them on some barbed wire or doing dumb kid stuff... we got out the sewing kit and fixed our clothes...preferably before mom spotted the damage.
Sorry to continue the deviation to the thread.... ;)

I saw that. Sorry for not clarifying but I was wondering how thick the roll would get. Length I saw but the actual compact-ness was what I was curious about.

I think this is more manageable. I like the idea and will try to locate one locally so I can check out prior to paying for shipping.

As I said, that depends upon you. What you put in it, and how tightly you roll it.

I believe sewing is pertinent to this discussion, since making your own custom emergency kit can prove to be a worthwhile endeavor. In case anybody would like to discuss sewing in greater detail, here's a thread just for you: Sewing (It's Not Gender Specific) | Survival Forums
