Engineering Advice (Root Cellar)

    Black plastic deteriorates. There must be something better, but off hand I don't know what would work. Possibly neoprene sheets like are used for waterproofing tanks, but that stuff wants a smooth surface to stick on.

    The plastic is buried, so with no sun it lasts like forever.

    Well, FWIW, the black stuff I've used deteriorated when wet. Did not need sun. I suppose, knowing me, that I bought the cheap stuff.

    AHAHAHAAAAA......There are fools that watch YouTube that will think this is actually possible and not give any consideration as to what happens when the house part collapses on the idiot, or how to deal with rain water filling the whole fool thing up to ground level.
